Without access to your account
Email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it: [email protected].
What happens
Deletion is scheduled right away. You have 30 days to cancel from the app or the web. When the 30 days end, we close your account, you can no longer sign in, and we delete your sign-in tokens and identities, registered devices, trusted devices, passkeys, authenticator app and recovery codes, MFA settings, watchlists, scheduled alert rules, chart drawings and saved app preferences. We also disconnect your Schwab and SnapTrade brokerage links. Other alerts, chart layouts and studies, widget and indicator preferences, your brokerage account records, and other brokerage links such as Alpaca and Tradier are currently retained until a follow-up release removes them.
What we keep
We keep some records after your account is closed because the law requires it or to resolve disputes: trading history, billing records and login and security records. We also keep a log of your privacy requests, including this deletion request. The log holds your internal account ID and a pseudonymous hash, not your email address. We do not use these records to contact you.
Encrypted copies of your name and phone number stay on your closed account for audit and legal reasons. Your email address, username and password are replaced with placeholder values when the deletion completes, and the other contact fields on your account record are cleared at the same time. Contact details you entered elsewhere, such as feedback forms, notification recipients, household profiles, sub-processor subscriptions and feature flag rules, are currently retained. Accounts closed earlier keep these details until a follow-up cleanup removes them.
