Bar Replay

Bar Replay lets you review historical candles one bar at a time. It is for chart study, discretionary review, and education.

When replay is enabled, BlitzPulse pauses live streaming for that chart and shows a forward-only cursor over the loaded bars. Use Play, Pause, Step, and speed controls to advance the visible candles.

Current launch behavior:

• Replay uses the bars already loaded for the chart.
• Replay is forward-only.
• Live quotes resume after replay is turned off.
• Replay does not submit orders or automate trades.
• The replay cursor is shown as a vertical chart line at the active bar.
• Cursor-aware overlays advance with the replay cursor by using the visible replay end date.
• Non-cursor intraday overlays pause during replay to avoid showing future-looking data.

Closeout smoke evidence:

• 2026-05-22 static chart contract smoke covered AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, TSLA, SPY as the representative 5-symbol set.
• Expected behavior: enable replay, Step advances one bar, the cursor line stays visible, live streaming stays paused, and cursor-aware overlay date ranges do not extend past the active bar.
• Performance boundary: replay reuses loaded candle data and updates the chart series locally; stepping replay should make no additional backend calls.

Use Bar Replay to study setup development without implying that historical results predict future outcomes.
